These juice heaters are in capacities From 60 M2 H.S. to 625 M2 H.S. as per the Capacity of sugar plant & customer requirement. They are used for heating raw, Sulphur & clear Juice from 30O to 40OC, 40O to 60OC, 60O to 75OC & 75O to 105OC. kindly change degree symbols

We are Master in Vapour Cells & Evaporators. We had successfully Supplied, Erected, And commissioned about 35 Nos. of various type of Rising film evaporator ( Semi – Kestner ), Falling film evaporator & Robert type evaporators ( Vapour cell )in India. Also we have handled erection & commissioning of largest Semi – kestner of capacity 5000 M2 H.S. to well known sugar industry in India.

Robert type Evaporator body with multi down take :

The juice coming out from clarifier is known as clear juice & is of 14O brix to 18O brix. This juice is concentrated for the formation of crystal sugar from 15O brix. To 60O Brix. In the form of syrup and for this set of evaporator is used.

We offer semi – kestner of tube length 4 Mtrs. To 6 Mtrs.

Advantages:
  • Less space required due to long tube length
  • Capacity increases by 15 – 20% Higher heat transfer & High velocity Of Juice
  • Cost Reduction
  • Less inversion losses because of less Retention time of juice at high Temperature
  • High bricks of syrup
  • Less steam quantity is required and Gives high vapour pressure, hence Vapour can bleed to pan, juice Heaters & Evaporator set

Design Features:
  • Calendria can be designed with min. 4.0 Mtrs. Long tubes up to 6.0 Mtrs. Long tube as per customers requirement & availability of exhaust back pressure of power house turbine
  • Calendria is designed by keeping sufficient annular space & to give the tangential steam entry of exhaust and non condenset gasses are taken out from centre
  • Effective juice distribution by juice coil & Flushing of juice
  • Umbrella above top tube plate is given to avoid carry over juice particles through vapour
  • Polly- baffle catcher also provided to avoid juice entrapment

Long Tube Rising Film Evaporators


PAN :

The syrup coming out from evaporator section of 60O Brix is converted into 90O Brix. To 100O Brix for formation of sugar crystal in Pan The pan are used for three types of massecuite, ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ massecuite. The capacity of pan supplied by us is from 40 Ton to 120 Ton low head batch type pan. We offer two types of Pans:

Extra Low Head Vacuum Pans


Design Feature / Advantages :
  • Evaporation rate is increases due to fast boiling
  • Speedy & High circulation developed resulting of uniform grain size due to less tube length
  • Boiling period of massecuite is minimize & hence pan capacity utilization increases considerably (i.e. Pan capacity increases by 20%)
  • Steam consumption reduced about 25% than high head pan
  • Uniform steam distribution in Calendria by providing annular space around the tube plate

Till date we have modified almost 25 Nos. High head vacuum Pan into Low head vacuum Pan which increases the capacity of pan from 40 Ton to 60 Ton, and also we had successfully Supplied, Erected & Commissioned of 16 Nos. Low head vacuum pan of various capacity from 60 Ton to 100 Ton in sugar industries.

Design Feature / Advantages :

    • Narrow crystal size distribution (C.S.D.)

    • Short Retainsion of crystals in pan
  • Pan can be boiled with low pressure steam / Vapour (0.2 to 0.5 Kg/cm2)
  • Less steam demand / consumption. (0.35 to 0.45 MT/MT of massecuite as against 0.5 to 0.6 MT/MT of massecuite for batch pan)
  • No fluctuating steam demand as is in a batch pan operation
  • Greater uniformity in operation is obtained with respect to crystal size and exhaustion
  • Number of units like condensers and ancillaries are reduced and thus less maintenance cost

The vertical crystallizer are used for cooling crystals of ‘C’ Massecuite & is maximization of exhaustion of the mother liquor & its capacity is from 100 Tons to 500 Tons.

S.S. Polly baffle entrainment catcher : The S.S. Polly Baffle entrainment catcher are used to eliminate the unknown loss of sugar through entrainment from evaporators & Vacuum Pans.

Feature :
  • Reduces the corrosion of equipments, pipe, & condenser by acid reaction of sugar particles,
  • Contamination free condenset to meet the feed water quality to the boilers,

Pan Hydraulic discharge valve are used in sugar industries to minimize the pan dropping / washing time & alternatively increases the pan capacity by 5 to 10 % By saving the dropping time.
